The worst staff had a procedure done an one of the care nurses had a very bad attitude..After my procedure was over I apparently was still sleep about to awake from the anesthesia but I could start to here staff talking. Just before I opened my eyes the care nurse came in she must have thought I was still in a deep sleep from anesthesia because I still had my eyes closed.When she came in she immediately kicked the wheel of my bed I guess from what she thought that was her way of waking me up .But what she didn't know I was a... read more
This review is strictly for the outpatient center and billing. The service I received from the medical team was excellent. The outpatient center bills are insanity. Even with full medical coverage the out of pocket costs they work in through artificially inflating costs of the procedure is wild to say the least. I would really weigh the costs before using this facility as it will not be cheap. Would not recommend the hassle of trying to get your money back, calls with insurance, and trying to be your own insurance adjuster. ... read more
Patients should be aware of the high out of pocket when using this facility. Owned by HCA, they bill the insurance company as an outpatient surgical center, (like an extension of the hospital) and not as a ambulatory surgical center which increases the out of pocket x3 times more. Specially for commercial insurance with deductible. In contrast, an ambulatory surgical center with the exact same amenities would charge 1/3 of their cost. Everyone was exceedingly nice and prompt. Altogether pleasant experience, considering I was there for a procedure.
I just finished a procedure at this facility and it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. From sign-in to recovery everyone was respectful and knowledgeable and made everything as comfortable as it could be. I'm sorry I did not capture the name of the individual who signed me in - but thank you to her as well as: Marie - Pre-op nurse Shelly - RN Lorgia - Tech Mark - CRNA Dr. Lopez - anesthesia Dr. Steinberg - Gastro Ya'll made it a very easy experience.
