This is a MUST STAY AT HOTEL when visiting Oahu. The prices are comparable and affordable for a Hawaii trip, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is amazing and the hotel is centered in the heart of Oahu's funnest district (Waikiki). The rooms are clean and comfortable, and activities within the hotel are plentiful. We rented a car because our daily activities included outings away from Waikiki. This place is awesome. Came from Vancouver Island (Canada). Showed up late - check in was smooth - Hoku at the front desk is triple A. Every person here is friendly, rooms clean, location is incredible. Will be back!

This hotel has been great. The location is top notch for staying in Waikiki. We had some problems with our shower that have been a little slow to resolve, but the manager and maintenance team have been helpful.

Great place to stay if you are traveling with a dog. Even as a dog friendly stay, it is very quiet. The parking is challenge but reasonable given the area.

We've been to Surfjack three times and love it. If you prefer a smaller more low-key hotel that's not in the thick of the tourist insanity, this is your place. It's within walking distance of everything Waikiki has to offer but it's about half the price of the giant chains. We especially love the retro vibe, attached coffee shop, and great staff.
