My server (Aspen) had a great personality but I think the overall training for this restaurant could use an overhaul. ALL the waitstaff made it a common practice to reach over the patrons' plate. I found this very rude. Also we were crammed into a small area which I understand we had to abide by reservations but the presentation was curt. Again I believe Aspen delivered the best service possible based on her training.
Last visited on 01/14/17. Our service was good; that was the best part. We had the worst booth in the place, right by the kitchen entry/exit and spent our entire meal listening to staff yell " coming in". They should consider NOT using this booth. Atmosphere was non-existent, between staff yelling, kitchen noise, and music volume better suited to a bar. Our food was ok, but not what we have experienced in the past. At this time another visit is doubtful.
Just had my 40th birthday party there last night on 1-14-17. I brought 19 people with me,the food and service was outstanding! Thank you surf rider
Great food, Great portions and a Great dining environment! Our server Crystal is awesome.......all around good restaurant, I will definitely be back and ask for her!!!! We are still here while I'm doing this review.......She ensured that from the time we walked in and sat down from drinks, to appetizers to meals and just made sure that we were good throughout our meal! Shrimp cocktail was good. Fried flounder was huge but too crispy and over cooked. Broiled platter was ok but nothing was anywhere near as good as Surfrider West on Newtown. Love Surfrider West�
Crystal provided the best customer service I have had in a long time!
