More importantly, my dog Tucker loves this place! I am thrilled we found Jim and Surf Dog as Tucker is an 11 year old, 80lb GSP recovering from his second ACL surgery and he has been having a much more difficult time of it than the first go round. Great place! Jim is the best!
Exceptional person, and place. Jim was so kind to our 12 yo severely arthritic tripod boxer. It’s clear that he is completely competent. It’s very evident that he loves what he is doing. Remy tends to be skittish w men, but he was completely at ease w Jim. Jim was patient and adaptable to Remy on his initial swim session w him. We plan to go back and tell all our friends, family and vet clinic about this place for future reference.
We took our 9 year old Lab for swim therapy with Jim yesterday. It was awesome! EJ is very shy around people due to living his first 2 years in an abusive hoarder situation. Jim accommodated EJ’s fear and gave him a wonderful therapeutic swim. We are going back this week for another session!
Our Great Pyrenees, Gabe, 9 yo, has had right knee issues for a while & we didn't want to do more & more meds - we wanted to treat the "cause", not simply mask the symptoms. Through a contact with a neighbor, we found Jim at Surf Spa.
