LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! did I forget to say the this hotel is right where you want to be. Lombard Street, San Francisco. My wife and I were fortunate enough to have one of the front rooms. We could open our window and hear the sounds of the city, and smell the fresh Bay area air. We walked to the park around the corner. Could not get enough of the 'Jakes Steaks' cheesesteaks, right next door. The staff were welcoming and friendly. My wife and I loved how central to everything this location is. Probably the weirdest hotel I've ever stayed in by a mile due to the layout. The room seemed to be characterized by ethereal wooshing and flickering lights (The light in the room was going dead, but I couldn't tell you where the wooshing noise was coming from, and that followed me to my dreams.) It also wasn't fully clean, and there were definitely a lot of things broken, chipped, or kind of haphazardly put back together. Here me out! You get what you pay for, but here is the truth. The area is safe, you can walk around this neighborhood at all times and feel same and not scared. Secondly, the hotel is what you expect, it's clean, comfy, and overall AMAZING for the price. The front desk staff are all friendly, kind, and took care of the basic and extra asked needs. You are located near many transit stops, great eats, and other amenities.
