I had my surgery for vertebrae fracture delayed because the doctor did not tell me to stop taking a diabetic drug for 2 weeks before surgery, an I had specifically discussed that drug with him. Scheduling caught it. Sitting in severe pain, I was very upset. Then scheduling tried to reschedule me for over a month out. I said no way and after speaking to the doctor he assured me they would expedite me, so they scheduled for 2 weeks out. Dr Kannan was thorough and very respectful of me as a person and not only as a patient. He was generous with his time, straightforward and caring at the same time.
