As a woman, I feel comfortable with a female doctor. Dr. Yasmin listens to your concerns, makes the appropiate diagnosis and recommends the best treatments according to your health needs. In time you will both earn each others trusts. If She needs to refer you to a specialist, She will do so. She is friendly, trust worthy, sincere and really cares about your health. A very thorough doctor but not very nice. I go in there in full panic mode because she's always on my case about weight and blames everything on that. I have been bigger most of my life and instead of making me feel incredibly horrible about myself especially after losing 50 lbs she should make you feel proud. Encouragement is something somebody needs in order to continue doing right.
