Towing business
To be honest, they are acting like criminals. They’re working with the towing company in some sort of hidden partnership to steal cars, even if you’re shopping there. They towed my car while I was inside the market, even though I had the receipt showing I bought groceries at that exact time. I don’t have the time to deal with lawyers or courts to sue them, but my advice is: don’t visit this market if you have your vehicle with you.
It has a variety of foods, including an international food court. Its prices are higher than those of other markets.
I have lived in West Philly for years and shopped at this place occasionally. Sure, they kept getting shut down by the health department, and you gotta check the dates on stuff, and they sold me spoiled meat one time. However, now it appears they have turned to “predatory towing scam” as a primary part of their business model.
