Didn’t even consider how much pain I was in. Asked for refills of medication and possibly something more strong after I ran out from er visit and immediately said no. I told her that my back hurts extremely bad to set up and stand and walk. She wrote on my chart that I started crying after she denied me pain medication when the truth is that I started crying when she made me set up to hear my heartbeat while examining me because my back started hurting again. I visited Dr. Gulla for an initial consultation yesterday. The reason for my visit is extreme fatigue and lack of energy. The first thing she asked me about were the medications I am taking including a sleep medication. Her response was "well I don't prescribe that". I said I already had a doctor prescribing that med and I wasn't there for that. Whether I sleep or not, I have no energy, and this is my problem.
