In Maricopa County DES / WIC inform and want people to shop at local farmers markets to get healthier good for a better value. All people deserve access to fresh produce and unfortunately these decisions always affect the most vulnerable in our neighborhoods children and elderly. I have shopped at both for over a decade. I hope the additional produce is donate to local food pantries and shelters and not go to waste.
