I have filed a formal grievance with St. Lukes Hospital and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services regarding how I was treated by St. Lukes Surgery Center and Dr. Sciortino’s office. I would give one star, but my hip is better. The nurses at the Surgery Center should be fired. I’ve never been treated so poorly, and I was discharged when I was crying because of the pain and vomiting from the anesthesia. I have never in my life been around a medical “so called PROFESSIONAL “. This man is ungodly rude, disrespectful, arrogant, cruel, ignorant, liar, I could go on forever. My mother in law has had a MRI. Three other doctors all agreed that she needed a hip replacement. It took two days for this doctor to see her in the hospital. He was called on a Friday. Dr Sciortino has treated or done surgery on three friends with another in line for hip replacement. ALL are thrilled with his skill and professionalism and most of all their results! I know him personally and all I can say to the guy who is complaining about the shot in his mothers knee is that Dr Sciortino is pragmatic and practical. You oughta be glad he alleviated your mothers pain. You can still get an MRI but why let her suffer in the interim? When it's time for my hip to be replaced he'll be the one to do it!
