A partial refund, given we were not at all given the room we were promised, or any attention to the easily accomodated request, would go some may to improving my opinion and rectifying the situation. Avoid if at all possible. Hotel has to be in one of the sketchiest areas of Thunder Bay. Looking out the window, we were at the back of a neighbouring education building with bars on all lower level windows. On entering the room, immediately noticed a hole in the laminate floor. The shower glass didn’t appear to have been properly cleaned for a couple guests at minimum. The hallway rug looked extremely unkempt or vacuumed.
