This is a gem of a hotel. It has a boutique vibe, with really cool decor. It's a very short walk away from the lovely marina park on the shores of Lake Superior. We ate at a terrific restaurant (The Grotto) about a block away. The location was perfect for traveling through Thunder Bay.
Parking secured, great breakfast, friendly service, clean room
I would give it 5 stars, it really is a nice place but my room had a funky smell, the AC was set to 60 so was freezing and it appeared the last guest had a party as there were still strings hanging from the ceiling and taped to the walls. The smell was so bad I would have requested another room but they were fully booked, which she had mentioned when I checked in.
