We visit Nola about once a year. We went to Superior by way of the streetcar as recommended by a friend who lives in the city. We were VERY impressed. The atmosphere was fantastic, oysters were delicious as well as the Bloody Mary. Had some "happy hour oysters" for 50 cents a piece. Doesn't get better than that!
We had great food and service, and reasonable prices. A great dining experience!
We had a group of 18 in the restaurant. Service was very good, and food was outstanding. Everyone, without exception, loved the food. I will be sure to bring more groups there.

It was a long day at work and after all the rain that day my family and I wanted to unwind and enjoy some seafood and cocktails We arrived and took 2 minutes for my car to be taken by the valet parking and another 2 minutes to be sat at our table We did take notice that there was a row of tables next to ours that were empty and as we sat there we noticed it took another 5 minutes to have them line up for another group of customers But then things got ugly...we were rushed through our foods and drinks...handed the bill ....th... read more

The shrimp and grits were melt in your mouth. The flavor was exceptional. Made my hair stand up. Robust but not overwhelming.
I had my Birthday Brunch at Superior Seafood ~ manager John Micheal and waiter David made the occasion fabulous! The food was delicious and the service was superb. I eat there all the time but they made my special occasion truly wonderful !!
