We've been here a few times for oysters and happy hour specials, but this evening was especially fabulous. Alexander offered some of the best service we have seen in ages. He was genuinely genuine, funny, personable and very helpful. When we return, we will ask to be in his section.
Everything my wife and I had was absolutely amazing. This place will now be on our must eat at place when we come back to NOLA every year
We went here last night for my sisters 29th birthday, the entire restaurant was packed. To the brim, our server (forgive me i dont remember his name) he had a party of about 13 people, the private dining room, plus our little table of 6. He was so busy but still he gave us a dining experience of a lifetime. I was so amazed at his passion for everyone to have the same experience. This is someone you know loves what they do everyday.
I read the reviews and this place was not far from our hotel and right on the Trolly line. We were not disapointed. I had the butter bbq shrimp and it was one of the most delicious shrimp dishes I have ever had. The sauce was just so unusually delicious. My husband had shrimp and grits and loved it. Both dishes came with a delicious house salad. This place was happening and has a very decent happy hour with 50 cent oysters. You just cannot go wrong.

Reserving dinner for 25 people was a breeze! When we arrived, they had us in a very nice room that opened up to the street. The staff are absolutely fantastic, with top notch service. The food and drinks were delicious and offered something for everyone. I was so very pleased with the ease in which I was able to make reservations for a large group. It was also a very scenic ride on the St. Charles streetcar through the Garden District to get there.
Kendrick and Jay were awesome as usual! The guys couldn't stop eating the oysters! The poboys were excellent and the best fries in town! Thank You!
