I requested a quote to replace roughly 6 feet of copper water pipe and add 2 on/off valves under the kitchen sink, plus one valve at the hot water tank as there was not one there. The quote was $1700 for parts and labor plus tax. I refused the quoted price and was charged their standard $170 inspection fee. It sucks to be out that much money for a 5 minute visit.
