I have utilized Troy for many years on home inspections for my clients. He has performed home inspections, radon testing and sewer line scopes for many of my clients. Troy is very patient explaining the process to the client and gives detail on all aspects of anything that comes up during the inspection. Just a lot of great knowledge and very versed.

Just bought a house. Troy did our inspection. After moving in we are discovering all kinds of repairs that he missed on his inspection. This has cost a lot of money, headache and stress. We just moved in a week ago. Already the washing machine faucets are leaking, the bathroom exhaust fan isn't working, the gate to back yard is broken and wont close or line up. Troy is exemplary in his job. He climbs the highest ladders in the attic, he stoops is low as he can to get into crawlspace. We used his service as he was recommended by a friend, and our pre-buy inspection couldn't have been more thorough and thoughtful. Not only did his report mention items, including photographs, which may be a future issue, but he was detailed in explaining how we could benefit from or improve existing structural items. Decided they couldn't park the company truck in an actual parking space at South Hill Grill...parked in front of entrance like a true DB, making parking lot a chaotic mess. Props to SHG for not being jerks about it. Jerk move by ballsy mcHomeInspector. Can't imagine this business owner looking out for a client's - or anyone's - best interest over their own. I recently had Troy out to inspect a home i was buyin . Being first time home buyers we werent really sure what to expect. The home we bought was built in 1927 and figured alot was gonna be rough. But we paid him to do a home inspection and sewer scope. He cleared the sewer line and said we shouldnt have any issues with it blocking up. He said he went all the way to the city sewer from our property. Well we closed on the house and a week after using the water, flushing, showering etc we have a massive blockage.
