We took our level 3 mostly non verbal autistic daughter today for her first ever hair cut. We were full of nerves. While she was upset upon entering as soon as she saw toys tears forgotten. Janet was amazing, patient and kind. She was quick but diligent. We haven't stopped talking about how good our little girls hair looks and just how well she did and how accommodating the salon was. 100 percent would recommend! We will be back that's a promise!! Apart from the weird way of scheduling (online form or calling the lice clinic I guess??), it was a wonderful experiance. I took my VERY active 15 month old. Jennet made him feel super comfortable immediatly. The chair was high and comfortable, some toys to distract him, no other hairdressers ir clients around to distract or overwhelm him, and she kept turning things into a funny game to keep him engaged and comfortable! My 23 month old had his 2nd ever haircut here today. The experience was great. Janet was very calm, patient and kind with him, and his uneasiness didn’t seem to interfere with her getting the job done at all. I hope with time he becomes more comfortable getting his hair done, and a place like this is a great start to getting him there. Thank you, Janet!
