Had to give it 3 stars. The guy at the desk who checked us in was really nice and polite. Super thorough. Lobby was clean and just over all appealing (unlike other motels I've been to). The rooms were beautiful, the flooring was gorgeous, same with the backdrop behind the bed. The reason I'm giving a 3 star review is because the floor was sticky and my clean socks got black from the floor. I would just kindly recommend mopping with a swiffer when cleaning the rooms. This place appears to be nice on the outside and when you first walk in, great view of Winona, that is where the compliments end. the customer service was horrible to say the least, the manger was a man named Sam and he was very rude and aggressive to us, my friend did an early check in got into the shower and left and we later returned a few hours later, we did some more looking into the room and pulled back the sheets and saw a nat on the bed some kind of brown stain on the other bed, and stains on the wall. so we went dow... read more

For an affordable, clean, and safe stay on the road, this is amongst the area’s better options. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The front desk workers were very polite. Also, this hotel is RIGHT next to Sugarloaf. Perfect to swing by the breakfast station (waffles, bagels, cereal, coffee, fruit) and set out for the trail.

I checked in at 12 pm 9/6/25 was supposed to stay till 9/8/25. I took a shower because the room looked clean and fine. After my shower I left to go out into the city with friends, and we get back to the hotel and pull down sheets so we can lay, and there were stains on the sheets, a bug was on the mattress under the sheets, so at 3:00pm we go to front desk to check out, requesting a refund as we were only there for an hour. I thought it was one of the best Super 8 Motels I have stayed in. Very clean, nice rooms, friendly people. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
