Our family asked for three non-smoking rooms for a 5 day stay. The rooms were on the same hall as the smoking rooms which defeated the whole nonsmoking request. The rooms were disguising (see pictures) The clean sheets we requested had stains and cigarette holes in them. We went to Walmart and bought sheets and Lysol and air fresheners. Our last night to stay there were people yelling and cursing at all hours of the night in the hallway. Super 8 is so very much hit or miss. We like the brand but this stay was bad. The rooms were not in the best shape. The faucets were very sticky and the bathroom was pretty run down. All of that was tolerable. But the visit turned bad when at night with the lights out an infestation of cockroaches came out. They were on the bathroom sink and on the dresser. While the roaches were small i counted 12 of them on the dresser. I informed the hotel manager in the morning and he simply said "that's impossible" and said nothing else... read more
