I can't believe Wyndham puts their name on this place! The tub was dirty and there was mold on the wall in the bathroom. The white microwave had been painted black, except for around the lettering on it. The bed were awful. Wyndham ypu gotta disassociate with this place! It was really awful! Not o sound mean, but in a country town like Talladega you really need a front desk person who can speak proper English and can be understood by customers.
Do not go to this roach hotel!!! We had reservations and the mean old man at the front desk told us there were no reservations. I then told him the verification number and he didn’t even put it into the computer to check, he just looked at me like I was an idiot. After a few minutes of him saying there were no restrictions, he picked up a piece of paper RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM that had the reservation on it! When I told him the name, he didn’t believe me…. It's a roach motel. Literally found a bug in the bathroom. We will never stay at a Super 8 again. My partner was in Talladega for a conference, and he was locked out at 11 PM when the door lock wasn't working. The front desk worker couldn't unlock it, called the manager, who was out of town. Manager finally came hours later and got it open, but told my fiance it would still not unlock so just "don't leave the room" until checkout. People were also being Super Loud outside at all hours. Only reason why I stayed here is because we could bring our dog. Other than that the place was disgusting to say the least
