Door handle in entrance door will not allow children or adults with arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome to escape out of room 112 This is a huge safety hazard. Issues with Booking.com and the front desk. This lasted for a total of 3 hours. We got sent from one issue to another by the front desk and later on by Booking.com. This is highly frustrating on a weekend that we longed for to relax. We showed lots of will to save the hotel the work of having to clean extra rooms for us. The Motel staff were wonderful, from checking in, to needing new pillows to asking for some info to be printed out for our Trade show booth. The gals we dealt with were super accomodating. As for the room, it was clean and very adequate considering the price. It was is a perfect location for our event (right up the street). Now of course, the building is older, so that brings some musty smells and cracks in the walls etc, but overall, it was a decent place to stay. I would stay again.
