I’m currently staying at super 8 in Slidell. This is one of the nicest budget stays I’ve ever had. I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, and so were the linens, a small breakfast is offered with your stay. When I tell you this is the nicest/friendliest staff I’ve encountered. I travel 200 nights a year. The price range I always stay out with Wyndam is the Days Inn, Microtel and Super 8 brands. The $60-$70 range. This review is based on that price band. First, you must stop and look at the Lobby. It literally glows. That is not a metaphor for “Clean” it literally glows. Second, the grounds are spotless considering it’s next to a Circle K which is impossible to keep your property clean. The Owner leaf blows daily and is constantly picking up trash. Third, my room.
