The beds were in separate rooms devided by a bathroom. There were mattress covers on the beds. The back bedroom had a balcony that overlooked the river. While it is an older motel and had some stains on the carpet, the room was clean and maintained. We would stay again.
This place is FILTHY! The a/c was leaking so the carpet was soaked and squishy. I expected an light odor (I mean it is super 8) But geesh the room smelled like an old suitcase. We had the room with the jet tub that was stained yellow and brown, the jet was filled with what I assume is dead skin and dirt. The shower curtain was hanging on by two loops and was probably originally white but what now peanut butter brown and tan. 2025 is the fourth time, I believe, that my family has stayed at riverside and we have had a blast each time. It isn't the most high end hotel in Tennessee however the rooms are spacious and separated with a nice back patio. In a good location not too far from the attractions, restaurants, etc. Beautiful view of the river plus some wildlife. This is the first year we've been on the bottom floor, so typically we watch the coons from above. They expect food but they are not mean at all, just curious, and leave if they don't se... read more
