Very polite and helpful staff at the front desk. The recent renovations in July 2025 were well done and it's a clean and well managed facility. The breakfast bar, while very basic, provided some fresh and gluten free options - very much appreciated. The breakfast bar attendant keep everything organized, stocked and tables clean during a busy morning with guests. We found the nightly rate comparable to other comparable motels in the city, and a better experience overall.
Booked a king bed but got 2 queens, which didn't matter because the pet-friendly room was completely renovated. They provide a water bowl fir the dog in your room, and plenty of water bags and garbage receptacles. Nice quite neighborhood to walk the dog if you don't go on the main street. Swiss Chalet, Tim's, Wendy's and Dairy Queen nearby. Breakfast had an amazing array of choices for an included breakfast. Coffee was decent. This is a good place to stay in the Soo. We had a very pleasant renovated room, the fridge was quiet, the window could be opened. The breakfast service staff was super nice and helpful.
