This Super 8 exceeded my expectations. When booking a motel you pretty much know what you're going to get. However, this place had amazing staff, clean rooms and hot shower. The parking lot was clean, no one was hanging around outside. The room was very clean and spacious. The best shower pressure I've had in a motel. Everything was as it should be. Great for the price. Well, great period. Neighborhood was not the best but traveling as a single mom with 2 kids, I never felt unsafe. Great stay.
If I could give this 0 stars I would. This is one of the worst hotels ive ever stayed at. There were roaches coming out of the grout in the shower. Im actually smoker and had a smoking room and that room reaked. The smoke just engulfed you as you walk in. Not in the best neighborhood. Will not be going back and giving my money to them. Wyndham needs to come in and investigate.
I gave this a 5-star because I know what Super 8 is, and this kinda exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The mattress was soft, yet firm enough. I was easily able to control the room temperature. Most importantly, when I turned out the lights, it was dark!!! No parking lot light blasting in through the window!!! I would stay here again when passing through Ruston.
Bed was clean and comfortable. Shower drained well, good flow, was hot. Sink drained well Coffee maker worked. The room was quiet, warm, and dark. Perfect for an overnight. The grounds are clean and well-kept with good parking available.
We just needed a convenient, quiet,no frills room to sleep and take a shower. This was perfect. The motel was right off Interstate 20. Clean room, comfortable bed and a good bathroom with plenty of hot water. We didn’t have the continental breakfast, but it was available.
