Utterly unacceptable experience. Although the staff were apologetic, that does not excuse the fact that my room was infested with bed bugs and the lock to my door broken. The first issue is about the door locks - on some of the door they do not close properly upon leaving, and with my particular room some bizarre ritual was needed to close it properly. First, I want to acknowledge Tonya, the front desk attendant. She was the one bright spot in an otherwise unacceptable experience. Tonya was kind, professional, and genuinely tried to make things right. Her efforts were the only reason we didn’t turn around and leave upon arrival. From the moment we pulled into the property, the situation felt unsafe. A woman was walking directly toward the front of our car in the middle of the driveway, giving us an unsettling glare.
