NO!!! Scratch Windham and Motel 8 from my list of places to stay. Stair and hallway carpets filthy. Maintenance issues throughout. No elevator. 1 outside security cam w little coverage for cars. 3 solo men sitting in 3 sub $200 cars looking suspect. Just hanging out in the pothole ridden parking lot. while we checked in. . Exposed fluorescent coil lights hardly guide you down dark hallways. Dim and damaged walls appear rolled in Killz Primer white. Lock didn’t work on first attempt. Bathroom sink broken. DO NOT BOOK!! THIS PLACE HAS BEEN CLOSED SINCE JANUARY, 2019. IT IS ABANDONED.
The most important detail about this hotel is that it is closed. We showed up 7/9/2019 around 5 PM with young kids and found the doors locked. There wasn't even a sign up on the door to explain that the hotel was closed for business. I was forced to book two other rooms at a more expensive hotel, costing us more than 2x as much as our original reservation. I'm hoping Wyndham makes this right.
