I stayed in one of the renewed rooms. It was clean, everything worked, zero bugs and I looked carefully. They had crews renovating other rooms while I was staying there, working fairly quietly. It's about half way between two Caltrans stations, so not super perfect location, but it was walkable for me with some planning ahead.
Was what I was needing. Sure the place had a few blemishes on the walls or carpet, however it was clean, which is most important.
My go to hotel in the area. Clean rooms, basic amenities. Easy access to a plethora of food
