Room did seem clean but smelled very musty and cigarette smelly when we walked in even though it was a nonsmoking room. The bed seemed to have been made up by a 5 year old. We remade it the next morning. There was an office chair and a lounge chair with an ottoman. Both chairs were in disrepair and really needed to be replaced. We never requested any room service. Horrible horrible experience. The room we stayed on stunk of mold and cigarettes and the carpets are filthy. When we finally tried to settle in to sleep cause it was late we had strangers walk into our room because the staff gave them the same room number as us which then made our keys deactivate. When I went to the front desk around 5am to get a tooth brush and our keys reactivated no one was there after 3 times trying and about 15 to 30 minutes later no one was still there. It's ok for a place to sleep. The people are nice, that's why it got a 4th star. No water pressure in the shower. The rooms could use a refresh. The breakfast is laughable, no protein at all. Waffles, toast, muffins and cereal.

Unfortunately, this most recent stay did not meet the standard I have come to expect from Super 8 and Wyndham properties. At check-in, I was not informed that a 1:00 PM late checkout would not be available on my departure date. I work night shift at a hospital and frequently choose to stay at this location specifically because it allows me to be closer to work, safely get some rest between shifts, and on occasions following my stretch of shifts before driving home. Ken Gandhi at the Super 8 in Medina, OH was incredibly helpful and amazing! When I called to book, he followed up with a text right away and made it clear I could message him anytime if I needed anything. He was responsive, friendly, and genuinely made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend staying here — Ken really goes above and beyond!
