I was initially hesitant to come here due to the amount of negative reviews of this hotel. When I got here, I was surprised by how good it was for the price. Pros: Decent room: The room was surprisingly decent considering how bad people said about it. There was no pungent smell nor dirty stains everywhere. The bed was nice and comfortable as well. Looks can be deceiving. The property is old but they have really worked hard to keep the rooms updated. The staff is 100, they make it what it is. Gigi is phenomenal and very hospitable. My only complaint is they need to have some juice for the breakfast.
Hospitality and General Upkeep lacking.
My room was so dirty. The carpet was not vacuumed. Air conditioning didn’t work. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. Front desk didn’t care and was rude. I was told to file a complaint with the manager whose phone number was somewhere posted on a wall. A number of people coming for state golf canceled their reservation due to the poor quality of this hotel. The continental breakfast was a small Rubbermaid with a few granola bars in it .
