Rooms don't match the pictures on the website. We were expecting an oven and a full size fridge, instead we got a mini fridge and no oven. We found cat food kibble in the corner of the room and it was very noisy in the hallways early in the mornings. Location is great with lots of restaurants nearby. Lots of parking, but if you have a truck, it's not so great as the spaces are narrow. Staff are pleasant though, and they offer a great free breakfast.

I come to Calgary usually 2 weekends a month and try to stay at a different hotel each time. I have to say for the price point this one is one of the best. Older building but clearly recently renovated. My room was clean and mostly everything looked new. The continental breakfast was definitely one of the better ones. The waffle bar was the best I've seen, they have so many toppings which is a nice change. The lady making breakfast was constantly checking to make sure it was full and also cleaning up. You cannot check in without a credit card, no exceptions. Physically there. I was not made aware of this ahead of time, and unfortunately as I do not get the opportunity to travel often and am very averse to having debt I do not have a credit card and did not bring one nor was I aware that some hotels do this. No refunds. Just the thing you want to hear far from home after hours of driving after 10pm. Room was already paid in full and everything.
