This hotel needs to be condemned. It is not fit to be open. When checking in, we had to wait 15 minutes because there was no one around. When we finally got our keys, they didn't work. The only worker there, came down and couldn't get the door open either, so gave us a "special" key. The ceiling was all but falling down, we couldn't shut the bathroom door because something was sticking out of the the door frame. Staff was friendly...now the bad stuff. Rooms smelled, casino type carpet, pubic hairs in shower when we checked in, 2 cochroaches in bathroom crawling around, tv did not work, small rooms, bed was hard. No hot water on 2nd day, could not shower. Paid 249 a night. All other locations sold out for a KU graduation. Do not believe the photos you see. Bed was hard and rooms small. Never again at a super 8. Asked for a 1 night refund, told we would only get 20 bucks back....don't stay at super 8.
I will not stay at a super 8 again. They have been hit and miss for me on a good day. This one was definitely a miss. Not only did we pay more at this location, than I have in any higher end hotel, but the rooms smelled, the carpet had multiple cigarette burns, there were bugs in the bathroom, the ceiling was molded and coming down in the bathroom and the heat didn't work. This hotel was totally run down and does not look like the pictures online so beware. Cable tv and heater never worked in our room. Front desk said they would check into the cable issue with no results. Tried to get a refund and was unsuccessful. They ended up giving us another room which was pretty run down also. All in all this place needs bulldozed down and a new one built. DO NOT BOOK HERE.
Pretty gross. Small, dark parking lot. Stinks like weed & cigarette smoke. Room is very sketch. No AC. Will not be staying again and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
