The people who operate this motel are very nice and try to be accommodating. Unfortunately, maintenance is grossly lacking and a motel that has the ability to be inviting and highly welcoming is, instead, third rate. Stayed here overnight for almost $300 because I had to catch the next flight out to Wrangell in the AM. Only thing that barely saved the experience was the front desk service and the view I had from my very frosted aged glass window -I tell myself it gave it an ambience-. I mainly blame myself for not planning better as its my first time solo traveling out here but will not be booking a musty room, with no AC and stained walls, if I ever visit Ketchikan again. I love this property. Everything is perfect — the room, service, and location. The owner is very good, polite, and extremely friendly.
