For a super 8 which is probably a little old. Looks like they did some updating so it's in descent condition. I stayed in a holiday in while visiting Michigan so there is no comparison. I was on the 3rd floor in Holiday inn and on the 1st floor at super 8. It sounds like a stampede above me. The door latch to outside would not open and I can't figure out how to get the stopper in sink to drain. Courteous young lady at the desk said she would fix it. Breakfast room looks nice. My crew needed a place to overnight with ample truck parking. Other reviews seemed decent enough, so we gave it a shot. We were very shocked, this place was not what we expected. When you think of the economy line of hotels, you think of Super 8 and others. Wrong!!! This Super 8, was wayyy better than anything I’ve stayed in here recently. Very strong marijuana smell. Toilet constantly ran. Will never stay here again.
Booked a King room through booking.com last minute to have a quick nap for the night. Prepaid. Showed up to the hotel and the lady at the front desk tells me they don’t have a king room for me and there’s nothing they can do for me “since I booked through the third party”. No apology, just condescending about me booking online. I also don’t believe that they can’t cancel on their end since I had other places do that before.
