After driving eight hours to get to this place, I pulled into a parking spot to check in. Out of nowhere, a Black girl with Locs—who I’m assuming was the front desk staff—walked right up to my car, waving at me and trying to get my attention while I was on my phone. She asked if I was going to check in and told me I “can’t just sit here,” as if she was rushing me or trying to check me for taking a moment before going inside. When I checked in Karen was very nice and professional, as well the room was well cleaned. The housekeeper I ran into Brandi was very helpful with my request. However I didn't appreciate the old homeless lady in the lobby begging me for money so she could get a room. I feel bad for her, but there are homeless shelters that are more equipped to assist someone in her position. These rooms are not cheap and I have no doubt she tries to manipulate other customers into "helping her" as well.
Great place but no gym. Has great value however for its location!
