If you’re looking for a hotel that you over pay and get wonderful service and the smells are just amazing (sarcastically), the Super 8 in Forrest City is the place for you. I showed up around 11:30 PM to find the front door locked and absolutely no one at the desk. Eventually someone wandered out from the back and let me in, but the vibe was already questionable. The Super 8 by Wyndham was a dump. The lobby smelled like pot, the hotel was dingy, the room was dated, the shower was lukewarm. Breakfast was advertised but there was no food. Not sure where the front help was. Total disappointment The place needs to be torn down. Yeah that bad!
Didn't look bad from the outside. Man a check in was nice and informative. Room was very dated, dirty. Marijuana smell so strong you could hardly breathe in the hall. Furniture looked left out in weather. Terribly damaged. Beds were good and we were beat so we stayed. No coffee pot. No breakfast. No one at the desk as we loaded the car and left. Very disappointed.
The location was decent and so were the room I stayed in, nest and tidy. They didn't have breakfast prepared, which was a downer but I guess since there wasn't many guests there.
0 Stars. Don't let the "by Wyndham" fool you, it does not live up to that standard. These are franchises and this location is a thumbs down. I would not recommend anyone staying here. We specifically stated we wanted a king bed and that we had 2 dogs. No problem, until we got there and were told, king bed rooms are not pet rooms. Took a pet friendly room with 2 full beds and so much furniture that it was difficult to set up our kennels. Room air was not turned on, floors were not vacuumed, fridge in the room didn't work.
