Customer be aware, the owner will rip you off. I booked a room on April, 28, 2025 for an event in the area scheduled for August 2, 2025. I have a confirmation number and already paid for the room in advance. On June 28, 2025 I received a call from an unknown number reflecting a Super 8 hotel. I did not answer it and they did not leave a message. I checked the number later and saw it was possibly the hotel I booked a room for. I called them and was re-directly to a woman. Great spot while thru hiking AT, close to fast food and grocery for an easy resupply
This place is the WORST! The rooms were nasty and way overpriced, the setting was hideous and the service was even worse. This place cancelled our reservation the morning we were supposed to arrive. We drove 7 hours to visit friends hiking the AT, and had to book another room in another town. Not only that, but when we came to hang out with our friends, the lady manager glared at us, and made up a rule that visiting hours were limited to 2 hrs per day, and we had too many people in one room.
