This was my second stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham on Stemmons Freeway near Dallas Love Field, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The problems began at check-in. The front desk clerk was busy visiting with someone in the lobby and made me feel as though I was interrupting her. She was discourteous and insisted I didn't have a reservation. Refrigerator in the room did not work so I had to resort to ice for my son's insulin. Upon check-in they tried to charge me despite this being a trip covered by insurance for a medical appointment.. if you're going to stay here and you have medical issues there is no bottled water available and nothing is diabetic friendly. Make sure to bring an extra charging block because there's no USB ports in the room to charge laptops or phones. Also my son found a toenail on the floor when we first arrived to the room. Everything was beyond satisfactory since checking in. The front desk rep Jay was very accommodating for me to check in early as I was traveling out of state. The location is and the environment are nice and quiet and the facilities here are modern and clean. Would highly recommend staying here again.
