I was greeted warmly by the receptionist when I checked in around 7 pm, in a clean and tidy room. However, it was a shame that the air conditioner was a bit noisy (224), the amenities were incomplete in my opinion, because there was only shampoo, conditioner, no soap, no shampoo. The mattress was clean, overall I like Super 8, thank you.
The room had a strong mildew smell when we arrived, my wife kept a terrible headache because of that smell, we didn’t have a ice bucket so when I went to get one bottom of the bucket was dirty, the ice machine downstairs near our room was broken so I had to go the the stairs and walk down to the farthest end of the building to get ice that was not very appealing to me since I had to go up stairs I’m disabled Veteran. Clean room and great staff. Continental breakfast was very basic.
My disabled Dad had to stay there for 9 days due to a family issue that left him homeless. That staff knew that he was having a tough time and went above and beyond. I was monitoring the situation from another state and deeply appreciate them checking on him daily. The staff proved to be a great bunch of people. When I finally got there to rescue him, the manager lady was so happy she had tears in her eyes. I am so thankful he stumbled into this motel.
