The palace was really awesome and very convenient in going places. The staff are very welcoming and friendly especially Tyson from the machine and the lady in the front desk. Highly recommended to stay if you have a trip in Illinois. The place is clean and excellent service. Thank you super 8.

The room was perfect for us. Location, size, and price fit right into our plans. The staff was amazing, polite and helpful. They always had a smile on their face and answered every question and request we made.

Unfortunately things started off not ideal, when upon arrival we discovered a clump of wet hair in the shower drain. That was hard to come back from, even though overall everything else was good. The service was good, and we were otherwise comfortable in the room. During the breakfast (6-9am), the pancake machine stopped working, and the staff member (the manager perhaps?) was very helpful and dutiful to fix it. Decent hotel, good location, clean but too expensive for the quality. I give it 2 stars but the rate is not commensurate with the quality.

Awesome location down the street from some of chicagos best beaches! Staff was super friendly and helpful, overall great seamless experience with tons of value!
