Checked in and enquired about late check out. Was told they would find out in the morning. Are you kidding? 30 minutes or so later we got an email denying the request. The breakfast room was HOT. You have toast, bagels, yogurt, cereal, fruit or waffles. Coffee and juice available too. Not much for people who are lactose intolerant and diabetic. I had a great stay at Super8 , Castlegar. The staff is really friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend it. The only thing which we are missing for now is slide which is not working but other then else really excellent and pool is still open and enjoy hot bath tub guys.

The draw of this Super 8 is the giant waterslide. But it was out of order (for some time) when we were there. The pool was far too cold for what it should be. (I have recently been in mountain lakes warmer than that water.) The rest is standard Super 8 level quality (not much), building (needing a lot of work). The front desk service was good, but there was many things I wasn't impressed with. The rooms and bathrooms didnt look anything like the photos they have online and were very much outdated and in disrepair. The bed sheets were covered in hair and stains. The bathroom supplies were definitely used and not replaced. The utensils in the drawers had food leftover on them.
