Had a reservation, checked in within an hour got a phone call for family emergency and had to check out. Hotel was not full and booked with points. Points company said they would give me them back as I didn't stay the night and ha da family emergency. Asked the hotel and they would not refund them. Cost 30,000 points to stay 1 night as most are under 10k. Would have loved to stay the night but an emergency is an emergency especially with family. Will not be staying there again. Hotel is very clean and modern. Location is excellent with shops and restaurants on the main strip. Good variety and selection for breakfast. Room offers Dove shampoo, conditioner, soap and body lotion. The view of mountains from the room was excellent. We weren’t bothered by the noise from the train, it was muffled and not as loud as others have suggested and only heard it pass by once.
Great spot for exploring the Bow Valley. The hot tub is huge, clean and super clutch after a long day of hiking. The complimentary breakfast also makes getting out the door in the morning a breeze. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is the toilet lids. You read that right....the toilet lids. They don't stay up by themselves. So if you're a guy and you have to pee you need to hold up the lid with one hand and hold your Johnson with the other. Peeing shouldn't be that complicated.
