We booked through a third party, so we couldn’t get a refund but this place was a wreck. The carpets in the common halls were thread bare and dirty, huge holes. Our room 226 smelled so gross, musty, moldy and pissy. The only thing that appeared clean was the bed, but I’m not even sure about that. The bathroom was grimy, tile was stained and the floors and tub dirty. We checked out at 5 am.

Is this really a 5 star hotel? No. But you get what you pay for and for the price...it was great. Customer service over the phone could use some work cause misinformation followed by "well they're new" is not ok. With that being said, the hotel was able to accommodate a special request as we had to change rooms while we were there and were concerned what to do with our luggage. Accommodations were made. Between the beds, not being made properly lightbulbs, missing the smell of the room, the bad attitude of the employees the entire trip and it took me trying to be positive to get them to smile and show a little bit of positivity. It was a greater concern staying there simply because my room was never checked, even after I made sure the sign was off the door, and that was off the door for days and still never received any form of service on top of that being misinformed about the breakfast where they simply had a granola bar ... read more

We had an unexpected death in the family and needed to leave a day early. We found out in the afternoon on Wednesday. They would not refund Thursday room price because we didn’t tell them we needed to leave on Thursday before 11am on Wednesday. Excuse our family member for not dying on super 8’s schedule. Very rude manager.
