Service was nice, and the front desk staff was very friendly. However, the rooms were too humid—it felt like sleeping in a damp bed. Most hotels run the AC continuously to prevent this, but unfortunately, this one did not.
I would recommend the Super 8 in Black Mountain. I saw a few reviews that were not so good. We enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the budget friendly and clean accommodations. A few big pluses: It’s very quiet, located near a walking path, huge parking lot for RV’s and Trailers, there is a nice creek next to the property with a few chairs and a two-person bench swing.
