Dirty, missing ceiling tiles, carpet torn in several places and filthy. The AI virtual assistant at check in was rude and very pushy. The guy panhandling for change in the parking lot was a nice way to be greeted. There are several other hotels on the block and a little more money....stay there not at this Super 8.
First time I ever encountered the fact that there wasn't a person at the front desk but a login machine. Weird
Maintenance guy shoves his way into my room during my daughter’s bedtime to “check the water” then proceeds to CALL THE POLICE ON ME FOR NOT LETTING HIM SHOVE HIS WAY INTO OUR ROOM. AVOID THIS PLACE!!
The daytime manager was the only good thing about this place. She was helpful in getting the roll away bed that we requested and charged us the $10 a night for it. The night time staff tried to charge my crew another $40 per night for it. Then they lied and told us they don’t do roll aways. They were rude to my female crew members and over the phone when we tried to correct the situation. And lastly, the water was not hot
Ran into a slew of problems. Firstly, didn’t get the room we ordered without explanation. It was implied we got a different room than what we paid for because of renovations, but the front desk seemed doubtful we even had a room in the first place. There was no offer of a discount or any kind of compensation for the room switch up (paid for a single queen bed and got two full sized instead).
