We were required to leave this property early due to Hurricane Harvey, yet they charged us for the entire reservation, saying that their policy requires reservation cancellation 24 hours after the reservation is made. I requested a copy of the written confirmation policy from the parent company, Wyndham Worldwide, but, of course, no response. Clearly, no customer service or compassion.

everything else is fine about this place besides THEY DON'T CLEAN THE POOL! I have asked 3 times this week for them to clean it. there is literally TRASH in the pool. I just went up to the front desk this morning and the guy was like "uhhhhh I guess I'll ask the cleaning lady"... clearly the front desk position doesn't require any knowledge of anything regarding the hotel either.. all I want to do is cool off and not be covered in leaves, bugs, hair, and now trash apparently.. and they act surprised as if they didn't know they were supposed to clean the pool. my friends and I even went as far as buying badminton rackets and stockings to try to skim it ourselves the other day. this is ridiculous.
