As a first timer, SUP California - Stand Up Paddleboard Rentals made the experience easy and memorable. I got a quick overview of how to use the board, at what height the paddle should be set and how to change it, ways to master standing up on the board rather than just sitting or kneeling, and suggestions for how to navigate the other traffic on the water. Looked at multiple places for rentals and this place is by far the best!! Super sweet nice people! They have great communication for any questions you have or pickup/drop off times. Such reasonable prices for the time you get we had it from 12-5:30 and it was so much fun! They give you a quick rundown on how everything works if it’s your first time and then it’s yours for the day it was super super fun. I’m glad we rented it and will definitely come back to this place for our rentals when we’re in SD again!
Quality paddleboards at reasonable rates with convenient location right on the bay. The staff gave us a quick tutorial and suggested the best route to avoid boat traffic. Perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon on the water with surprisingly good exercise too!
