Management are professional liars. I was told I didn't have to clean the apartment after my estranged brother died there this year after about 15 months as a resident. I made sure the apartment was completely emptied. I let them clean it. I specifically asked for an itemized list of the cleaning and damage charges. Went to the Welcome Center (Office) to pay my daughter’s rent- received a very unfriendly “welcome”- the receptionist had daggers in her eyes. Then I made a benign comment about the rent amount ($1492) being the same date that Columbus discovered America. OMG! The hostile diatribe of cancel-culture that followed made me feel even more uncomfortable. I know- hilarious, right? I guess she was having a bad day… but I was relieved when I closed the door behind me.

I’ve been waiting months now for them to replace my door because it’s broken and instead they’ve just replaced the locks more times then I can keep track. My whole apartment is constantly falling apart and it’s past the legal requirement to replace my carpets of which I requested and they always have excuses to not do the repairs I request and instead something minimal effort that doesn’t last long at all.
