This has been the best school for my 4 year old daughter. The classes are small, children get to go outside and plant and harvest in their section designated for them to learn hands-on. Teachers are trained and able to asses children on individual basis. They recommended my daughter attend their speech classes and that along with her daily socialization has made a huge difference! she is now talking just like her 6 year old brother and next year she will not need speech anymore! This is a wonderful school. I can not say enough about how wonderful the staff is for my special needs kiddo. I saw a previous review about how the front staff was rude but that's probably because this is not a daycare it is a school and they are VERY protective of the kids here. (Thank goodness.) No, you can not walk in off the street and ask for a tour. This is the riverside school district, and you do need to have your child evaluated before they can attend.
I have visited this site twice and I have called several times. The reason behind me contacting them so much is because it is hard to find care for special needs children and this is who was recommended. Upon my very first visit the women in the front were very rude. Not a hello, how can we help, nothing. I don’t know about you but this is a little unsettling because if they aren’t worried about appearance imagine what they are doing to your child.
