Very uniquely Asheville, with the best flavors! Funky monkey is awesome, with caramelized banana ice cream, and peanut butter between chewy chocolate cookies. Highly recommended place to visit!

Great ice cream sandwiches. Tons of selections for both the cookies and the ice creams, plus custom concoctions like the one I had... the Funky Monkey - chocolate cookies, banana ice cream, and a layer of peanut butter. Not cheap, but massive. And delicious. Worth stopping in on a hot Summer day for sure. I'll definitely be back.

Sunshine Sammies is absolutely amazing and my family and I are thrilled that they have opened up a store downtown! I had The Origin (vanilla ice cream between two dark chocolate cookies) two days ago and it was to die for! Pretty sure my new goal is to try every Sammie they offer!!

Great ice cream. Awesome customer service and I love the building.
So we took four away.. The craggy, local, funky monkey, and the key lime.. All I'm going to say is the funky monkey is a life changer. Chocolate cookies with peanut butter spread on them and then banana ice cream � Super friendly staff too!
